Croydon Council Tax will increase by 5%. Not entirely sure why, and what exactly the extra money will be really used for, but we will all be paying a little bit more:

Residents living in a Band A property will see an annual increase of £52.01 as their overall tax goes up from £1,039.29 to £1,091.30.
Weekly this will work out as a £1 increase.
Band B
Those living in a Band B property will see an annual increase of £60.71 as their overall tax goes up from £1,212.49 to £1,273.20.
Weekly this works out as a £1.17 increase.
Band C
For those in a Band C property, their annual increase will be £69.35 as their overall tax rises from £1,385.72 to £1,455.07.
This will mean £1.33 more per week.
Band D
Residents living in a Band D property will see an annual increase of £78.03, as their overall tax goes up from £1,558.93 to £1,636.96.
Weekly, this works out as a £1.50 increase.
Band E
Those living in a Band E property will see an annual increase of £95.35 as their overall tax rises from £1,905.37 to £2,000.72.
This will mean £1.83 more per week.
Band F
For those living in a Band F property, their annual tax will rise by £112.72, going up from £2,251.78 to £2.364.50.
Weekly, this works out as a £2.17 increase.
Band G
Residents in a Band G property will see an annual increase of £130.04, as their overall tax goes up from £2,598.22 to £2,728.26.
This will cost £2.50 more per week.
Band H
Those living in a Band H property will see an annual increase of £156.06, as their overall tax rises from £3,117.86 to £3,273.92.
Weekly, this works out as a £3 increase.
